- Open Outlook 2010.
- Go to File -> Info -> Add Account.
- Select the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" radio button and click "Next"
- Select the "Internet E-mail" radio button and click "Next".
- Enter the required information:
- Your Name - The name you want to appear on outgoing email.
- E-mail address - Your email address.
- Account Type - Select "IMAP" or "POP"
Note: Read Difference between POP3 and IMAP - Incoming mail server - This will be
Non-SSL Settings: mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is the domain of your email account
Secure SSL/TLS Settings: server.teamdiscoverydns.co.uk - Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - This will also be
Non-SSL Settings: mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is the domain of your email account
Secure SSL/TLS Settings: server.teamdiscoverydns.co.uk - User Name - This will be your full email address.
- Password - Password for your email account.
- Click on "More Settings" :
- General Tab - Type the name you prefer for the account.
- Outgoing Server Tab - Checkmark the "My outgoing server(SMTP)..." to enable it and set "Use same settings as my incoming mail server.".
- Account Tab - This varies if you choose "IMAP" or "POP". Set it appropriately
- IMAP Port: 993 for SSL or 143 for Non-SSL
- POP3 Port: 995 for SSL or 110 for Non-SSL
- SMTP Port: 465 for SSL or 26 for Non-SSL
- Click OK
- Click "Next".
- Click "Finish".
